All requests for service require some direction and input. Because of constant demand for our services Family Based Services provides regular contact and support to families who are unable to access a service immediately. This could include a range of interventions including telephone support, single session (time limited) counselling, mediation, managing a crisis, information about other services or referral and linking to other services. Often the service is short term and a family does not require ongoing casework.
