Therapeutic Care Programs

Placement Services provides a high standard of out-of-home care for children and young people including sibling groups who are unable to live with their parents. Referrals to the service are made by the Department of Human Services Child Protection.

The program focuses on preserving families and strengthening the connections between the children, young people and their parents and wider extended family members. It also focuses on positives within each family and identifies their strengths.

The program aims to develop a collaborative relationship between the natural family, the caregiver, Glastonbury and the Department of Human Services to work together for the benefit of the child.
