Our approach to Service Growth and Development

Glastonbury will continue its committment to providing services in the City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire, Colac Otway Shire, Golden Plains Shire and the Borough of Queenscliffe. We expect that the growing needs in our community along with population growth with require the agency to consolidate its visible presence across its catchment.

We have a commitment to the local area planning and service provision. Critical to our success are strong and robust partnerships with the community, government and community organisations.

As a result of research findings and our own experience we recognise our need to increase our range of services aimed at preventing or reducing the need for more intensive services. This commitment to prevention and early intervention services will not be at the cost of our investment in intensive family and placement services.
